The Canon XF605 is a professional broadcast video camera, specially designed for fieldwork. This makes it highly suitable for ENG applications and all kinds of live and offline productions. Think of sports, events, documentaries, streaming, and much more.

The video camera features a 1” CMOS sensor and a DIGIC DV7 processor. Together, these deliver an image quality of 4K UHD at 60p/50p in 4:2:2 10-bit XF-AVC and MP4. In Full HD you shoot up to 120 frames per second, giving you beautiful slow motion images. The L-series 4K lens features 15x optical zoom and independent rings for zoom, focus, and iris control. Three different image stabilisation modes offer a solution in any given situation. Plus, the camera comes with built-in ND and infrared filters for even more control over the available light. Focus is ultra-smooth with innovative Dual Pixel CMOS AF that includes Eye Tracking AF and intelligent head tracking via EOS iTR AF X. The latter technology uses deep learning to always follow a subject's head, even when the person looks away.

Enjoy a wider dynamic range thanks to versatile shooting options. Capture your footage in Canon Log3 for flexibility in post-processing, or shoot instantly in PQ or HLG HDR file types, ready to broadcast right away. Plus, you can simultaneously record on two SD cards in different formats. The XF605 supports the same colour matrices as the Canon Cinema EOS and EOS R systems, allowing for seamless image matching when using different cameras.

Thanks to extensive connectivity, you can professionally deploy the XF605 with ease within your live or offline environment. It has 12G-SDI, HDMI, XLR, USB-C, Wi-Fi and Ethernet for IP streaming. Using the Content Transfer Mobile App, you can edit metadata that conforms to the News ML-G2 standard, transfer images to your iPhone, or upload directly to FTP servers. Customise the Canon XF605 to your liking with independent controls and 11 assignable buttons. You can also configure everything via the 3.45” LCD touchscreen. A multifunctional hot shoe offers space for additional accessories for even more functionality.
