Description
In collaboration with National Geographic, Bresser has released the National Geographic Go-To Telescope 90/1250. It is a computer-controlled lens telescope with Go-To system. This Maksutov (mirror) telescope is in many ways an excellent choice for the beginning and advanced amateur astronomer. With a focal length of 1250 mm high magnifications are possible: with the included eyepieces of 12.5 and 25 mm magnifications of 50 and 100x. The Maksutov design ensures that the tube remains compact. Through the opening of 90 mm a lot of light falls into the telescope, resulting in detailed images.
For the novice amateur astronomer finding the celestial objects is not an easy task. This is made easy by the automatic Go-To system. Finding objects quickly, without having to set the telescope to Go-To is easy via the red-dot (LED) viewfinder. The telescope can be placed on the supplied aluminum field stand. The telescope can also be placed on the table without a tripod. The moon and planets are very beautiful objects to view with this telescope. The telescope is bright enough to show the brightest nebulae. The included hand controller is equipped with 272,000 pre-programmed celestial objects. A compass is included to enable the telescope to be directed to the north. With the aid of the rotating star chart, you can easily orient yourself during observation. A moon filter is included for optimal viewing of the moon.
